SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Possibilities of practising sports are multiple. At our domain, you find a swimming pool, a volleyball court, a basketball net, a table-tennis, a table football and you can lean playing the Southern French game pétanque.

Our domain is extremely vast (52ha). It is perfect for walks and cycle rides. You can rent bicycles 5 km from Château de la Motte.

In the village of Marcorignan there is a tennis court.

There are several house riding-centres near Château de la Motte.

The proximity of the coast gives the possibility to practice all kinds of water sports (www.ville-gruissan.fr et www.narbonne-plage.com). The salty water lake, l'Etang de Bages (8 km from Château de la Motte), is prized for windsurfing.

If you like to go sailing, the seaside of Gruissan is just the place (15 km from Château de la Motte). For a more peacefully cruise, you can chose a sail on the Canal du Midi with departure from Narbonne or Le Somail (3 km from Château de la Motte).

Also you have the possibility to dive with The Driving Club of Narbonne.

 

You can eventually go climbing in the hills, la Clape, between Narbonne and the sea.
